You can delete your child's Google account if they are under 13 years old (age limit may vary by country). Use Family Link to remove a child's account from Android devices.
How to delete an account
If you delete a child's account, they will lose all information stored on it, including photos, emails, and documents.
Note. You cannot delete a child's account if he is already 13 years old.
- Delete the child's account from all signed-in Android devices. Note! If you delete a child's account before it is deleted from Android devices, those devices will be blocked.
- If the child is not signed in on any Android device, skip to step 2.
- Open the Family Link app
on your device.
- Select your child's profile.
- Click Settings
Account Information
Delete Account.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.
Note. You can also delete your account by clicking on your child's name on families.google.com. Sign in to your Google account if necessary.
How to cancel deleting a child's account
Note. This can only be done if you have created a Google Account for your child and your child is under 13.
If you deleted a child's account by mistake, you can restore it, but this should be done as soon as possible.
- Sign in to your Google account and open your family group page.
- Note. If you deleted the child's account and family group, the child's account cannot be restored.

How to remove a child's account from an Android device
When you delete a child's account from an Android device, all data associated with the child, including emails, contacts, device settings and parental controls, are also deleted from the device.
Note. If you've set up parental controls for your child's existing Google Account, you'll need their help to do this.
- Open the Family Link app on
your child's device.
- In the upper left corner, click the menu i

- Select your account and enter your password.
If your child's device is not connected to the Internet, use the parental passcode to delete the account.
- Open the Family Link app
on your device.
- Select your child's profile.
- Find the card of the Android device your child is using.
- Click Settings
Reset device settings and delete data.
Note. You can also remove your account from your Android device by clicking on your child's name on families.google.com. Sign in to your Google account if necessary.
